In 2014 I interned at WBEZ radio and worked on a number of their different podcasts.  I did everything from recording to sound design, as well as creating social media presence for the shows on various platforms.  Below are playlists of the shows I was a part of and a brief description of what I did.

A safe space for nerding out about all the things you're watching, reading, listening to and encountering in real life. Hosts Tricia Bobeda and Greta Johnsen talk to people about their obsessions: from science to science fiction, great lady nerds of history to Beyoncé.

I did various forms of dialog editing for Nerdette and assisted in production of the final mix, including music, and sounds.  I started working on episodes in season two and later (Starting at Peter Sagal's episode).  I even did a nerd confession in one episode!

It's All True! is a conversational storytelling podcast hosted by comedian Tim Barnes. Each week Tim asks guests ranging from authors to comics to reveal a headline for a funny true story. It's quick, sonically rich, and always fun.

I did all of the final mixing for the last half of season two, starting at episode #23 Kevin Mullaney, and all of Season three.

A smart but irreverent look at food culture today by two sassy ladies who love to cook and eat as much as they love to report and argue with each other. Food journalist Monica Eng and chef/food blogger Louisa Chu get together to explore cooking, dining, culture and food policy while introducing you to a smorgasbord of culinary characters.

For Chewing the Fat I recorded interviews, edited dialog, preformed content edits, and put together the final mix for all episodes of season three.

In this series, we focus on the future of the Great Lakes in a way that is a little different for us. WBEZ's brought fiction writers and scientists together, then asked the writers to jump off from there, creating stories set decades from now—when clean, fresh water could be a rare resource.

I worked on these episodes of AfterWater doing all the post production including, dialog editing, sound design, and final mixing for all the episodes listed in the above playlist.

General Admission is not your average arts podcast (or, radio show). Hosts Tyler Greene and Don Hall explore and discuss the underground arts of Chicago, and across the country. They offer interesting, sometimes provocative critiques of the art world at large, ask their guests to do the same, and invite listeners to participate in the larger discussions.

For General Admission I mostly did dialog edits and final production edits for the final mix. I worked on all episodes in this playlist.

Homemade Stories is a podcast hosted by Shannon Cason, a powerful voice in the national storytelling front. A Moth GrandSLAM winner, Cason lays out his life for the listener, blemishes and all. Homemade Stories began several years ago with, as the name implies, some home recordings.

For Homemade Stories I did all of the final mixing for episodes 48 to 55.
