What I do

I am a 29 year old Podcast Producer currently working at Hippo Education LLC.  I graduated from DePaul University in 2013 studying game and sound design.  I at started my path in sound design when I took a shot my sophomore year of college and applied for a slot at my college radio station Radio DePaul.  I worked on various sound design projects across many different formats in school.  I tried everything from audio for games and animation, to live on location radio journalism.  All this experience eventually led me to WBEZ 91.5 in Chicago as a Podcast Production Intern.  I started working on multiple podcasts at this time both as a freelance editor and contract employee.  I then landed in the world of medical education and have been able to make compelling content that has helped doctors get the required education they need, and tell some amazing stories along the way.  It was a fun niche industry that I was extremely lucky to fall into.

When I am not working on audio, I can usually be found playing games.  I grew up playing video games and have never stopped finding them fascinating.  I also can be found usually listening to the Cubs play or getting really emotional when Mike Montgomery or Wilson Contreras have really good games because they are perfect and I love them.
